I had never tried Canva before Monday’s class and boy, was I missing out. Canva is wonderful. On top of being an amazing teacher resource, there are so many ways I can use it for marketing for my art business (Art Shredz). I am hoping to use Canva to make business cards, posters, and social media posts!
During class time this week, I tried making a virtual classroom; however, as I am super new to Canva, I did not get very far… Here’s the result of my Gryffindor common room virtual classroom:

My plan is to create various Harry Potter themed science and math questions to solve all around the room but I haven’t had the time to figure all that out yet.
Canva came in really handy this week for the French lesson I taught in my Link2Practice class. I had planned on doing a lesson on adjectives so I used a template on Canva to make a Mad Lib (a fill in the blanks story). I am quite proud of how the worksheet turned out and the enthusiastic reaction the class had to my activity. Canva helped me make my worksheet quickly and effectively as well as allowed me to make it visually appealing to students. I was in a bit of a rush to make this activity so I did not spend long trying to beautify it. If I had more time, I would have added some more interesting/funny images and made the border less bold.

If anyone would like to use this resource, let me know!!
