And so it begins.

Before arriving at the first EDCI 336 class, I had little idea what to expect of the course. I am not particularly confident when it comes to technology which had me concerned that I would struggle in this class. However, after meeting Joanna and hearing the course description, I feel more excited than worried. As a person who loves creative projects, the Free Inquiry assignment especially caught my attention. My brain is already loaded with ideas for my assignment. As well, even though I normally dislike figuring out technology, I am interested to learn other ways people use it in the classroom. Joanna’s presentation got me thinking about all the memorable school experiences I had with learning strategies involving technology and I am eager to come up with some of my own while I have people to help me out.

Now, for a brief introduction, my name is Nova and this is my second year in the BEd program as well as my second year living in Victoria. I am from Prince George, BC where I spend my time painting, playing outside, and spending time with my family, friends, and dog. My biggest achievement this summer was listening to all of the Harry Potter audiobooks. However, now I am sad that I finished them so fast and am in desperate need of something new to listen to. If anyone has suggestions, I would love to hear them!
