Universal Studios!!
We began with the iconic studio tour where we got to see the real Ford Anglia from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (as well as many other cool things) . Around midday, we watched Waterworld, a super cool performance involving jet skis, boats, and crazy stunts. The rest of the time was spent poking around and going on a few rides.

Unsurprisingly, walking through Hogsmeade and part of Hogwarts was my favourite part of our time at Universal Studios. The Harry Potter ride was really neat as well, although part of it involved watching a screen which I wasn’t a fan of. Most of us have concluded that the 4-D screen rides result in nausea.

Walking through Hogsmeade was a dream come true. We made sure to visit Honeydukes Sweet Shoppe, the wand shop, and Zonko’s joke shop. We even ate lunch at the Three Broomsticks!

Mario World was super neat as well. Unfortunately, the line for the Mario ride was 75 minutes long and we no longer had the patience to wait in the heat surrounded by that many sweaty people.

Unlike in Disneyland, we finished all the rides by late afternoon and were on the road to Oceanside by 5 o’clock. Once we got to the condo, we had a quick sit-down dinner before settling down for the night.
