Time to drive to Kittelfjal! But first… A workout and an hour at the spa:)
Around 1 o’clock, we hit the road heading towards the North Pole. The 300km drive we did today made us feel like we were on the Polar Express… We saw reindeer AND the northern lights!! It really does feel like we are in the North Pole, it’s so remote up here. We are just South of the Arctic Circle (however, it was only -15 degrees when we got here, warmer than PG is right now that’s for sure!).

The ski cabin we are renting here in Kittelfjal with the whole gang is super cozy! It feels so Christmas-y:).The only minor downsides are: There is no internet (my dad has a bit of data so if anyone needs to contact us, get a hold of him), the kitchen is tiny, and there are no dish cloths. However, I do get to have my own room because there is so much space and we have an indoor sauna… So, I can’t complain!

I’m too tired take more cabin photos, haha. You’ll get some more tomorrow.
Update on the Jyde family: They are feeling too sick to come tomorrow:( they have pushed their arrival date to the 24th which is the day that the swedes usually celebrate Christmas, so we are going to postpone the festivities to Canadian Christmas day on the 25th.
Very excited for skiing tomorrow!
