The epic journey to the ski hill begins…
We left Spånga around 9:30am this morning and directed the GPS to take us 500km north to Solleftea where we will stay the night. Tomorrow we continue on for another 300 ish km to Kittelfjel!
The travelling went pretty smoothly, we only stopped three times. The first time was for lunch, the second was because the GPS directed us to the Solleftea dump instead of the hotel, and the final time was when we arrived at the hotel. Funny enough, the hotel we are staying at tonight is also on a ski hill so we have a great view of all the wipeouts from our room! As well, the hotel is super nice (none of us were expecting it to be, the swedes were really playing it down)! There’s a spa with four hot tubs!!!
We are here with Maria, Stig and their two kids so Es and I spent a lot of time in the pool with the kids testing out each hot tub. The other family that is suppose to join us a Kittelfjel just contracted a cold so they are unfortunately going to postpone their trip to the ski hill until Friday…
