Unfortunately, I was not able to attend Jeff Hopkins presentation in person so I watched it on Zoom instead… I had never heard of PSII before listening to Jeff’s talk. I found that learning about PSII was a lot more engaging then the “Most Likely to Succeed Film” because it seemed more realistic seeing as it is happening here in Victoria. It’s cool to know that the inquiry/ project based learning curriculum is actually being implemented instead of simply being discussed. I was curious if these sorts of ideas were still only staying in bigger, wealthier cities so I decided to look up if my hometown (Prince George) had anything like PSII. I discovered that the Prince George Secondary school had started a project based learning program quite a few years ago. Seeing as I did not go to that high school, I has no idea. I find it encouraging that people are finding ways to implement these sorts of programs in many places as a learning alternative for students.
